I referred to my books, and find that the five prisoners were on Extra Diet and allowance for seven days after the execution of the two Pirates, and not more. The character of Ah King and Lee Fong, the two prisoners who have been this day examined as witnesses, is good in the prison. They are quiet, submissive men. The Locking* bears a very good character. He has been five years in his present employment.
